We’re looking for a skilled WordPress Sysops person to provide assistance with our AWS based WordPress hosting infrastructure. This is a temporary engagement to help cover on-call schedules between May 27th to 13th June 2016 (around 2.5 weeks).
We are expecting to need to onboard the Devops/Sysops-y person a week or so ahead of this to get up to speed with how things are working etc.
Your skills should include experience in AWS, hosting large WordPress sites and ideally PHP development experience to do some code reviews. We’re also looking to hire full time for this position, so if you enjoy yourself and want to do more, that opportunity will likely be available!
To throw some techno-jargon around, you’ll be familiar with: RDS, EC2, CloudFormation, provisioning systems, command line, SSH keys, Git / GitHub, SaltStack and happy to pick up 100 other little bits and pieces of knowledge along the way!
