Sam has a long and impactful history in WordPress and open source; he’s previously held positions at both Mozilla and Automattic, where he led teams focused on WordPress.org and WordPress core. Currently based in New York, US, Sam joins our fast-growing global Client Services team. Welcome, Sam!

After working in the WordPress community for four years at Audrey and Automattic, I’m really excited to get my first opportunity to work in a fast-paced and energetic agency environment. Human Made have some really exciting clients and the projects are big, complex, and impressive; I’ve really enjoyed getting straight into it from my first day.
One of the most influential factors in my being here is undoubtedly all of the awesome people I already knew that worked here. Since then, I’ve met the entire team at our 2017 company retreat, which was a really fantastic experience and served to cement deep respect for all of my colleagues. I have spent a long time working in the open source environment, and I truly admire Human Made’s dedication to the WordPress community and project.
