Please join me in welcoming Jen Laker to Human Made as a Senior Project Manager. Jen is a Certified Scrum@Scale Practitioner as well as a Certified Scrum Master and joins us from Voce where she spent more than five years working with clients such as Harvard Business Review, Facebook, and Sony PlayStation. She has been using WordPress since 2009 and has extensive experience helping organisations accomplish large WordPress builds at scale.
We’re very excited to have her on board and she’s already tackling several of our current projects.

I couldn’t be more excited and humbled to be a human! I’ve long-admired Human Made’s expertise, focus on empathy and inclusion, dedication to the WordPress community, as well as commitment to quality. I first started using WordPress back in 2009 while in college, then in 2012 I began to use it professionally while working at Voce Communications. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many enterprise clients and experience all the boundless ways to create processes while helping teams to extend WordPress to go, well anywhere you want to!
Since joining HM, I’ve been so enthused and empowered to hit the ground running. In addition to the projects that I manage, some highlights have been attending WordCamp Orlando, WordCamp US, Big WordPress Meetup NYC, and getting to learn and share with such a talented and generous group of teammates who truly believe in the Agile principle of continuous improvement (and laughing …and a few who may be pet-obsessed like me).
I am so thrilled to say that I’ve truly found a home here at Human Made, one that is supportive, collaborative, transparent, and makes me grow with each day that passes. I can’t wait to see what we build together next!
