It’s been public for a while, but today we would like to officially announce that the incredibly talented Samantha Miller has joined Human Made as a WordPress Engineer. Sam was previously the lead WordPress developer at Grapple and, along with our very own Matthew Haines-Young, is one of the organisers of the Leeds WP Meetup. Sam has spoken about WordPress development at several WordCamps including WordCamp London 2015 and is a regular attendee at WordCamps across the UK. With over 10 years experience in front-end development and 7 years building WordPress powered websites Sam is a perfect fit for the kind of high-scale, complex WordPress projects we’re known for. I came across Human Made at a WordCamp I attended a few years ago, and they have always stood out to me as the best of the best.

Web development started as a hobby for me, and quickly progressed into a passion I felt I had to pursue. I’m constantly striving to improve my skills and knowledge, and I know this role is the perfect place for me to continue to learn and grow.
