Join us in giving a huge welcome to Ignacio Cruz, who has recently joined us as a WordPress Engineer. Ignacio brings a lot of experience with him in a range of areas. He’s worked extensively in plugin development and with WordPress Multisite and has been a Core Contributor for several years. He also organised the first WordCamp Madrid in 2017 and has spoken at conferences and WordCamps around the globe. Based in Madrid, Ignacio will be our first hire in Spain. We’re delighted to have him with us!
Wohooo! I’m so excited to join Human Made and I’m extremely honoured to join a team with such a number of talented people.
I have been working with WordPress for six years. In those days I tried to build my first website which was completely hacked after a few months (you know, spinning skulls and fire and that kind of stuff). Once I met WordPress, I stuck to it and here we are.
Five years ago, without a high knowledge of WordPress, I found out about my local meetup group in Madrid. Trying to be brave, I gave a talk and started making a lot of friends around WordPress and today I am a WordPress Core Contributor and WordCamp Organiser in Madrid. I’ve been working with WordPress Multisite for four years and it’s been an outstanding experience to know WordPress, deeply 😉
I’m looking forward to working with the team and contributing more to open source projects while having a lot of fun.
