Joeleen has been working with WordPress since 2008, using it for universities, small businesses, and non-profits. She’s excited to combine new technologies with proven web foundations to showcase WordPress’s capabilities. She has a background in design and fine arts and uses those skills to bring beauty to the projects she touches.
Before joining Human Made, Joeleen was a Concierge WordPress Engineer for Pressable, working on projects for Automattic’s Special Projects team. She’s previously been a freelancer and held a variety of other positions, including leading the front end team at an agency in the DC area. She currently lives in Greensboro, NC where she hoards fancy yarn, sometimes knits things with it, bakes sourdough, obsesses over chocolate, and has adventures with her family.
